back from japan, where i had a wonderful time! off to the university of illinois at champaign-urbana next week, to perform some of harry partch's works for voice and adapted guitar, as well as lecture at the harry partch archives [sousa center for american music] on the history of the guitar in his works between 1941 and 1972. can't wait!
